We had a wonderful meeting in March 2007.
Welcome to the new attendees
The meeting began with about twenty-three members present
and a few more joined us during the meeting.
The idea of a raffle quilt was discussed and plans are to have it made
and ready to sell chances on during Pilgrimage next year,
while demonstrating the art of Quilting on another quilt
in one of the homes on the Pilgrimage tour.
The First Lottery yielded quite a bounty with enough
blocks for 7 lap size quilts.
The winners for March were:

Linda Goley, Becky Martin,
Karen Winters, David Butler
& Linda Dawkins.
Congratulations to all the winners.
Remember that you still have to bring blocks until
all members have lap quilts to make.
Block Of The Month!

Judy demonstrated how to make a 12” (12 ½” unfinished) nine-patch block. Everyone was given the assignment of making blocks in blues and purples with a positive (5 dark patches & 4 light) and a negative (5 light patches & 4 dark) block to make up a set. |
