" I Quilt In Color"

I enjoy to create art quilts which are filled with color and life.

The textures of various fabrics and the depth of colors long to find their place and tell a story.

You must listen carefully with your spirit...for sometimes the fabrics whisper gently to soothe the soul.  Other times the textiles shout to be the center of my design board. They want me to feel alert, vibrant, and alive.

I appreciate each venue which has accepted and exhibited my expressions of fiber art.

Happiest Wishes,

DianeL

*I do not post pictures of all the quilts I make.  If I have exhibit quilts pending acceptance, they will not be on these pages, but posted at a later time after end of exhibit.  The gallery of pictures on the following pages will change at different times.

A number of my quilts are in private owner homes and collections. Some of my quilts were made for media celebrities.  I respect the owners right to privacy by not publishing pictures of their quilts without permission.

I have donated full size and wall art quilts for raffles to promote different charities I support. It is my way of giving back.   dcl

Excerpt from "St. Patrick's Breastplate"

"I arise today through the strength of heaven, light of sun,
Radiance of moon, Splendor of fire, Speed of lightning,
Swiftness of wind, Depth of sea, Stability of earth,
Firmness of rock."
