I enjoy creating art quilts which are filled with color and life. The textures of various fabrics and the depth of colors long to find their place and tell a story. I listen carefully with my imagination and spirit...for sometimes the fabrics whisper gently to soothe the soul. At other times the textiles shout to be the center of my design board. They want me to feel alert, vibrant, and alive. Since the age of nine, I have learned many types of needlework which includes sewing, hand quilting, embroidery, heirloom dressmaking, appliqué, macramé, rug hooking, and free-motion machine quilting.
As
a fiber artist, I feel my spirit soar with happiness and freedom as I make
original tangible art from the inner dreams and energies I want to express.

"I
arise today through the strength of heaven, light of sun,
Radiance of moon, Splendor of fire, Speed of lightning,
Swiftness of wind, Depth of sea, Stability of earth,
Firmness of rock."
